Community and Events
Subaru of Orange Park is incredibly proud to partner with Subaru of Jacksonville to help the community. Between the two, we have worked with The ASPCA, Duval County Schools, First Coast No More Homeless Pets, the Humane Society, The Fraternal Order of Police, Meals on Wheels and many more! We work to help a different charity or local event every month. Check out our Community and Events page below. We update it regularly so you can view our latest community work and updated dealership happenings!
February 2011: Subaru of Orange Park sponsors a Dream Genie Day for a local cancer survivor.
As a company that is known for being very community oriented, we are often approached by charities, non profits and other causes to help with their cause. As often as we can, we say yes. Every once in a while, we are presented with an opportunity that truly knocks our socks off, and this is it.
The Experience Genie (pictured below) travels the world surprising terminally ill cancer patients (they like to call them "survivors!") with a day of their dreams to help get their sickness off of their minds and treat them to a day beyond their wildest dreams.
Subaru of Orange Park was able to facilitate this cause by making a donation to make the day happen, and providing a fully loaded 2011 Outback to chauffeur the survivor around in. The surprise of the day took place at the dealership. The survivor's name is Bob Kahle, a Jacksonville resident who is a former Marine. Many tears and smiles came throughout the day, and it was an opportunity we will never forget! Learn more about the Experience Genie here: The Experience Genie.

December 16, 2010: Subaru of Orange Park and Subaru of Jacksonville Christmas Party.
Each year, Subaru of Jacksonville and Subaru of Orange Park hold a holiday party for all employees and a guest of their choosing. This year, our event was held at Ocean 60. We took everyone out for a nice night of dinner and drinks on the company. It is of utmost importance to us to honor our employees and their hard work each year. We truly have a special family of employees, and hope they enjoyed the evening as much as we did. Check out the photos below!

November 6, 2010: Subaru of Orange Park and Subaru of Jacksonville sponsor the Arlington Community Zone Celebration!
We were proud to sponsor the Arlington Community Zone Celebration! Champion Zone put this event together to help assist the needy in the Arlington Community. The event included a fundraiser, special events to entertain the citizens of the Arlington community, and different educational courses for the citizens. Subaru of Jacksonville and Subaru of Orange Park donated money to the cause, and assisted with vehicle placement for a needy citizen. What a great event for the Arlington Community!
June 5, 2010: Subaru of Orange Park and Subaru of Jacksonville sponsor the Never Quit Beachfest!
We were proud to sponsor and have many employees participate in the 2nd Annual Never Quit Never Beachfest! The event featured a 5k, relay challenge, and a healthy living party. We had a tent onhand to give out sunscreen and other positive health goodies, we gave away a kayak, had many employees participate in the 5k, and made a large donation to the cause! They had a great turn out this year with over double the number of participants as last year! Read more about the charity at www.neverquitnever.com.

April - May 21, 2010: Subaru of Orange Park and Subaru of Jacksonville bring back the "Subaru Star" Reading Event!
Subaru of Jacksonville and Subaru of Orange Park are back at it again to help the community! We have a strong desire to help Jacksonville's high needs youth conquer and excel in reading and comprehension. We first did the program during fall of 2009 with area elementary schools. This semester, we took it to the next level: Middle Schools! We volunteered at J.E.B. Stuart Middle School and Joseph Stilwell Middle School. We provided prizes to all of the teachers, staff, administrators and students for their participation! J.E.B. Stuart came out to be the winner and was awarded a $2,500.00 donation as their prize! Because everyone is a winner with the Subaru Star Reading Program, we also donated $500.00 to Joseph Stilwell Middle School! It was an incredible 6 week journey, we loved being in the schools and interacting with the students!

On Thursday, February 11, 2010 Subaru of Orange Park celebrated its official Grand Opening Ceremony. We hosted almost 150 guests, including dignitaries from Subaru, community officials, employees, customers, and friends. Check out the photos below!
